Well, after talking with others and showing them photos, it sounds like the "maybe Green Mamba" was actually a "Jamison's Mamba". Yes, still dangerous and deadly. But Jamison's are skittish while Green are aggressive. But with 16 teens in a classroom, wouldn't anybody/anything act skittish(grin)? Or maybe it was skittish because it saw that big hoe coming to knock it into oblivion? At least everyone (except the snake) got out safely, and we are thankful.
