On the first Friday of school, we hosted a youth group with nearly all the students attending. With silly games (dress up relay, pass the marshmallow, and "honey if you love me", etc.) and a brief Bible study, plus food, the kids were pretty happy to be involved. One boy was so delighted to have had the time together that he begged us to have something every week. Unfortunately that is usually not a possibility, although we HAVE doubled the amount of youth activities on the calendar for this new school year!
