HIS Youth and My Car

Many of you will recognize this photo since it was printed in my last prayer letter. I am so thankful for the car. It has run me all over, and I've added 10,000 KMS to it since I got it in Sept. Thank you so much for helping me buy it! It is an AWESOME ministry tool.
Hanging all over the car are my current students. This year I'm teaching grades 7 and 8 for New Testament Survey. We've been having some good classes. Right now we're in I and II Peter, and they're prepping to do a huge project on other epistles. Each student will take a book and make an outline. They then have the choice of how to present it, such as in a power point, in a board game with Q & A, maybe even a video. Amazingly enough, they all seem to be looking forward to it! (I know isn't that odd - to be excited to about a project you have to do, at age 13?!). This will be their end of year project.
Something I've really enjoyed during our Bible classes together is hearing how the students are doing in their own Spiritual lives. Just last week 2 students made great points as they observed some verses in James. I'd not dwelt much on those verses at that point, although at other times I have. But right now Jesus is teaching them certain things, and to be the teacher showing them how to study the Bible, well, I am thankful to be along for the ride. I'm thankful that Jesus is choosing to use me in this way. What a blessing!
