With our month-long recycling project half-way done, our HIS first grade and 10th-12th grades posed in front of the van packed with the plastics we'd already gathered. We sent the van to the recycling plant last week. Originally, we'd planned to just take the plastics with us when we go on our field trip next week, but the kids have been doing an amazing job collecting plastics, and the storage was overflowing. If the students keep up with their recycling, I imagine we'll have at least another van-load before we're through!
