
Check out these GREEN chicks. No, nobody was playing a late April fool's joke. Apparently they dye them so the hawks and eagles won't eat them. I wonder why predatory birds don't eat them if they're green. Maybe they're looking for Green Eggs and Ham? Or are the chicks moldy to them? I guess the color wears off after a while. I've seen grown chickens with slight patches of green which must have grown out of the solid-green phase.
